The point of sale that’s much, much more than a point of sale
Not all customer transactions are sales. RMPro supports numerous invoice types, including on-approval, consigned, back order, custom order, services, layaway, and more. Inventory status reflects these transaction types, and RMPro knows if a customer has an item which they have not yet committed to purchasing yet.
Making a large sale can be challenging. You want to make your customers happy and give them a reason to return. RMPro’s quotations allow you to give a presentable document to your customers, quoting items they’re interested in with their prices. RMPro can also lock / reserve these items until an expiration date.
When it comes to the high-ticket retail industry, creating value is important. RMPro has appraisals built-in to it, allowing you to customize and print a certificate of appraisal for your customers – both relaying value, and an official document which can be used for insurance purposes, if needed.
Whether items had been sold, on-approval, consigned, or any other sort of customer transaction, returns do happen. RMPro’s Point-of-Sale makes it extremely easy to process returns, which may also issue refunds or credit memos to your customers, if any payments exist.
RMPro’s Point-of-Sale module has credit card processing built-in, eliminating double-entry and the potential for mistakes. Soon this will also support collecting payments via chip cards, and other modern methods.
Not all inventory is what your customer wants. Sometimes, they want something custom-made just for them. RMPro’s Custom Order module assists with tracking these requests, collaborating specifications and instructions between your customer and your vendors who can fulfill that order.
When processing large orders, some items might be in stock, while others need to be back ordered. RMPro’s Sales Order module helps you interpret customer requests, matching items with SKUs, then tying down each item with your stock. Anything which is not in stock then becomes a back order.
